Due to a proper lack of funding on behalf of the province of Ontario, restrictions apply to the amount of house calls that physicians are allowed to complete. 

Monday to Friday, physicians can only visit 12 patients per day. 

On weekends and public holidays, physicians can only visit 20 patients per day. 

From the hours of 12:00 AM (midnight) to 6:00 AM, physicians can complete an unlimited number of house calls. 

Should you have an issue with this model, DHCS encourages you to contact your local Member of Provincial Parliament to submit your grievances and dissatisfaction.
