It is a combination of classwork and on the job training and an excellent opportunity to learn a valuable trade in a well paid, high demand field.
The mission of Future Hope Apprenticeship Program (FHAP) is to provide valuable job opportunities in the construction trade, along with life-skills, education and job readiness training for a sustainable future. Apprentice training areas focus on carpentry, painting, drywall, taping, and roofing.

Building Pathways is a pre-apprenticeship program designed to support residents of Suffolk, Norfolk, and Middlesex counties get training in the construction industry. It is a free training program. Building Pathways' goals are to help participants learn about the industry, practice hands-on skills, and compete for apprenticeship program openings or jobs.
Community Works is a state-registered pre-apprenticeship program, free to trainees, and is available to anyone looking to get into the building trades in Western Massachusetts. Community Works runs one 9-week training class a year, from the end of February to the end of April. Applications are typically due by the end of January.
