EforAll is a program based out of Lowell that offers a free, one-year business training program for those hoping to open their own business. The program is offered twice a year in participating communities across the Commonwealth including Lowell, Worcester, Fall River/New Bedford, Cape Cod, Holyoke, Lynn, and the Berkshires. The business program offers a unique combination of immersive business training, mentorship and access to an extended professional network.
Fresh Start Entrepreneurship is offered by First Step Alliance and aims to provide justice-involved individuals with the education, mentoring, and legal assistance they need to start and run their own business. The Program's unique curriculum combines entrepreneurship training and money management skill development with individual coaching by experienced business mentors, certified financial coaches, and instructors with lived experience.
Inmates to Entrepreneurs is a program to help individuals with criminal backgrounds start their own businesses. I2E provides free in-person and online courses to help people develop practical business skills.
The TLE Center for Urban Entrepreneurship is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit that provides under-resourced beauty entrepreneurs with the ecosystem of resources they need to grow a thriving 1-3 person microbusiness. We also offer aspiring beauty professionals intensive beauty career pathway training, job placement opportunities, and other key ancillary services they need to start a career in beauty.
Project Entrepreneur is a free program offered through Boston College Law School where participants take an "entrepreneurial fundamentals" class and develop networking skills to help further their own business ideas.
