The Center for Library, Achieves and Museum (CLAMS) is an academic library attached to an academic institution that supports the teaching and research needs of students, faculty, and staff. Being part of the support service of the academe, the Center for Library, Achieves and Museum follows the specific standard provided by these accrediting agencies: The Commission on Higher (CHED), Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) and Philippine Association of Academic and Research Librarians (PAARL). Notwithstanding the critical role of the library in the institution, the above-cited accrediting agency provides seven criteria in determining its sustainability and effectiveness. These seven criteria serve as a basis for the librarian to ensure the total quality of service needed by the clientele.
Whereas the role of Librarians and ethical norms in the practice of the Profession is embodied in Republic Act No 6966: “An act regulating the practice of Librarianship and prescribing the qualifications of librarians”.
In the context of service, CLAMS is bound to provide up to date library resources both print and non-print to promote lifelong learning to its clientele. It also aims to provide a place conducive for study and research and thus employ library staff fit for the function. The operation is headed and actively monitored by a qualified head librarian who set direction in attaining

2021 saw the transition of the Library and Media Center (LMC) to its expanded form, as the Center for Library, Archives and Museum Services or CLAMS. This transformation has been done to further cope with the changing landscape of providing services to its students, faculty, administrators and other researchers and continuity of services even due to a pandemic.
