For this revision, I decided to improve the stakeholder map that my team created in Hike 5. We analyzed and compiled a list of potential stakeholders in food deserts in the United States. I wanted to improve on this stakeholder map because I feel as though we were a bit rushed and didn't really get a chance to think of all the stakeholders involved. Not only that, but I also felt that we didn't really have a way of distinguishing the stakeholders and putting them in different categories so that we could better understand the connections. Therefore, I decided to improve upon the stakeholder map; the changes I made are distinguished with the yellowish marker. I also decided to make a legend where I categorized the stakeholders based on if they are more associated with the social/cultural, transportation, or policy/economics areas. This revision shows growth because I am better able to think about problems more broadly and better understand the connections. I had never really understood the various amount of systems food deserts were a part of until after I did my research and completed this stakeholders diagram.
