This presentation is systematically divided into four sections corresponding to Semester I, II, III, and IV, offering a structured academic overview of the M.A. English programme. Each section highlights the key papers prescribed in the respective semester, covering the chronological development of English literature, major literary movements, genres, and critical theories. Beginning with classical literary periods in Semester I, progressing through modern and American literature in Semester II, moving towards Indian English and postcolonial studies in Semester III, and culminating in global, comparative, and research-oriented studies in Semester IV, the presentation collectively reflects the comprehensive scope, depth, and interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum.
