The Department of English at Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University has actively contributed to academic enrichment by organizing three significant national-level seminars and workshops in 2026 under the aegis of the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat. These include a National Workshop on Academic Writing, an IKS and English Studies Seminar-Workshop, and a multidisciplinary National Seminar on Science and Literature. Through these events, the department has demonstrated its commitment to fostering research, interdisciplinary dialogue, and scholarly excellence. By bringing together students, researchers, and academicians, these programmes have enhanced critical thinking, academic writing skills, and contemporary literary understanding, thereby strengthening the academic culture and intellectual engagement within higher education.
