The Academic Visit to Bortalav and TRP4NEXT Café in August 2025 was organized as a refreshing and creative learning experience that blended nature, art, and literature. At Bortalav, students engaged in artistic and cultural expressions such as poetry writing, painting, and singing, allowing them to explore their creativity in a serene natural environment. The visit encouraged self-expression, collaboration, and appreciation of aesthetic beauty beyond the classroom. Later, at TRP4NEXT Café, the focus shifted towards literary exploration, where students participated in informal discussions, sharing ideas and interpretations of literature in a relaxed and engaging setting. Overall, the visit served as a holistic academic and creative exercise, enriching students’ literary sensibilities while fostering artistic talents.

As part of academic enrichment initiatives, an educational excursion was organized to prominent libraries and museums in Bhavnagar to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the region’s rich intellectual, literary, and cultural heritage. This experiential learning opportunity allowed students to engage directly with historical archives, rare manuscripts, and valuable literary collections, thereby extending their knowledge beyond the traditional classroom and encouraging independent scholarly inquiry. The visit included several important institutions such as Gandhi Smriti, a museum dedicated to the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, where participants explored rare letters, personal artifacts, and archival materials reflecting his philosophy and contributions. At Barton Library, one of the oldest libraries in Gujarat, students accessed a wide range of classical and modern literary works that highlight the city’s vibrant intellectual tradition. The Central Library provided exposure to advanced academic resources, digital databases, and research facilities essential for higher education, while Pattani Archives & Library offered valuable insights into Bhavnagar’s political, cultural, and administrative history through its collection of rare records and royal documents. Overall, the visit proved to be an enriching and intellectually stimulating experience, significantly enhancing students’ academic development and deepening their awareness of the region’s historical depth and literary richness.

As part of academic enrichment activities, a visit to Rajkot was organized on 13 January 2026 to experience the vibrant cultural and developmental landscape of Gujarat. The tour provided students with practical exposure to the state’s rich heritage, economic progress, and contemporary initiatives through various exhibitions and interactive displays. By exploring different pavilions showcasing culture, industry, and innovation, students gained insight into the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity that defines Gujarat’s identity. The visit also fostered meaningful discussions on cultural preservation, economic growth, and the role of youth in building a progressive society, making it an insightful and inspiring learning experience.

As part of an academic enrichment initiative, an educational visit was organized to prominent media organizations in Bhavnagar to provide students with practical insight into the dynamic world of journalism and news production. The visit aimed to help students understand the role of media in shaping public opinion, delivering information, and maintaining ethical standards in reporting. At Gujarat Samachar, students observed the complete process of print journalism, including news gathering, editing, and publication, which emphasized the importance of accuracy, responsibility, and timely reporting. The visit to Saurashtra Samachar studio offered exposure to broadcast journalism, where participants learned about scriptwriting, live reporting, and studio operations. Interactive discussions with media professionals further enhanced their understanding of the evolving role of digital media and the significance of credible news sources in today’s fast-changing information landscape, making the experience both informative and practically enriching.
