Getting to Exeter

Exeter has two railway stations - Exeter St David's (main station) and Central. For train schedules please check: https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

There is an airport in Exeter but it has a limited number of connections.

The nearest airport with connections to many European cities is Bristol. From just outside Bristol airport, you can take the coach (Megabus) which gets you to Exeter in 100 minutes. You can buy a return ticket from the bus driver for under £20 (takes contactless payment) or buy it online in advance as seats can run out. Alternatively, you can take a bus to Bristol Temple Meads and take a train to Exeter St David's which takes about 60 minutes.

From Heathrow airport, you can either go to London Paddington and take the fast train to Exeter St David's which takes about 2.5 hours or take the National Express coach from the airport central bus station which will bring you directly to Exeter city centre in about 3.5 hours.

From Gatwick airport, you can get to Exeter St David's by train via changing at Reading in 3.5 hours.

Getting to campus:

The city centre is a 20-25 minute walk or 5-minute taxi ride to the campus. To book a taxi, please call Apple Taxis on +44 (0)1392 666666 or book online here

You can also take a bus to the Streatham Campus which is served by the D route. The timetable is available here.
