Vatsal Khandelwal

Hi, I'm Vatsal. Welcome to my website! 

I am an applied microeconomist who uses theoretical, experimental, and structural methods to answer questions related to economic development. In particular, I model, measure, and analyse social and economic networks to study problems in development and behavioural economics, with applications to topics in health, education, firms, and labour. I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Oxford. I am a junior research fellow at Merton College, University of Oxford and an associate member of the Department of Economics. 

I will be joining the University of Exeter as an Assistant Professor (UK: "Lecturer") in September 2024.
