Altursa of South Central PA, Inc. has donated over 250 Acts of Kindness, all occasions type cards within the last year to Veterans in a Support Group we assist. We provide many products they need throughout the year. We do an almost monthly donation of cleaning supplies, food items and other items needed and they let us know what they need. We had donated 10 No Sew Blankets that we did at our workshop in October 2024.

On January 11th (rescheduled due to A LOT snow the previous Saturday - a lot for Southeastern Virginia!), Tidewater members created cards and goodie bags for our veterans. Cards were sent to A Soldier's Hands and the goodie bags were delivered to our "new" local Veterans Center - Jones & Cabacoy Veterans Care Center in Virginia Beach.
Our Tidewater club is also beginning a new project at Jones & Cabacoy Veterans Care Center - a Sensory Garden! Members have started planning with the center's administration. We are all excited about this new project!
