Congratulations to one of Montgomery County's new members, Dr. Yvette Butler-Yeboah, MD, who received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award signed by President Joe Biden.  The award was presented at the end of September during the Congressional Black Caucus and is presented to few Americans to recognize over 4000 hours of extraordinary service.  She is the founder and Executive Director of GapBusters, Inc. which provides various programs locally for students to excel academically, socially, and professionally.  GapBusters has also setup a technology school and library in Ghana.  We salute too her daughter, Nesreen Hill, who serves as Program Manager.  Proud to have you as members of our club.

Altrusa club of Fauquier integrated a Days for Girls project into their workshop.  They have shopped for a few children through the Angel Tree and continue to donate books to our reading corners.
