Created in 2008, Dulala is an organization that seeks to encourage student success, participate in social cohesion and counter-balance discrimination through plurilingualism.

Elodil provides videos, resources and guides to help teachers implement plurilingual and pluricultural approaches within the classroom. It also includes a repertoire of children's books and identity texts to be used both inside and outside of the classroom.

Other initiatives

ScribJab: Scribjab is a website and iPad application that allows students to read and create digital stories in multiple languages and allows them to form a greater appreciation of their own multilingual resources.

The Family Treasures and Grandma's Soup is a dual language book project launched by Dr. Hetty Roessingh at the University of Calgary in partnership with the Almadina Language Charter Academy. Students in kindergarten and in Grade 1 created dual language books to enhance literacy progress.

The Dual Language Showcase is an initiative created by educators from the Peel District School Board to showcase dual language writing accomplishments of their students.
