Come learn about how your girls can earn GSUSA Religious Recognitions. This workshop will cover recognitions from individual faiths as well as the GSUSA My Promise My Faith program. We will also discuss how to celebrate Girl Scout Week and the awardees at Girl Scout Sunday, Sabbath, and Jum' ah services.

A hands on workshop designed to assist leader's and girl's understanding of Girl Scout ceremonies like Investiture, Court of Awards, Bridging and Thinking Day. This is especially helpful for adults who were not Girl Scouts themselves.

Harness the energy in your wiggly girls and re-energize the droopy ones! Games are a super way to build community within your troop while having active fun. These games are fast, easy, and based on getting along - not just competing.

If you feel daunted by the idea of running a robotics team, this session will give you the confidence to engage your troop with some awesome STEM activities! Join the leaders of the Space Cookies (FRC Team 1868 | Girl Scout Troop 62868) to learn how you can get involved in the FIRST Lego League (FLL). FIRST's mission is to engage young people in exciting programs that build STEM skills, inspire innovation, and foster capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership - it's a great fit with the Girl Scout "fun with purpose" curriculum. Seniors and Ambassadors can coach FLL teams too!

When you are out with your girls at night, look up! Come learn about the constellations, how to find them and the stories behind them. Engage in fun, hands-on, star-related activities that can be used to complete badge requirements.

This course is required for at least one adult who will accompany the troop when cooking or sleeping outdoors. Emphasis is on how to teach skills to the girls and prepare them for their outdoor experiences, as well as health and safety concerns. You will be preparing your lunch during the class, so please do not order a Discoveree lunch.
This is a three session workshop - sessions 1, 2, & 3. You must attend all three sessions to get certified.

Learn the basics of this global sport. We'll start with a brief overview of the basics then head outdoors to find some cache containers in the immediate area using your cell phones with the Geocaching app loaded. We'll cover the steps required to lead the Junior badge: Geocaching.

In this class you will help prepare a wide variety of snacks, desserts, and meal selections and cook them using a box oven. Walk away from this class with your own box oven, recipe book, and improved skills for your next camp out with the girls. Lunch is not included but come prepared to sample and share your box oven treats.

Lanyard making is a classic scout and camp craft. Learn the box stitch, the round stitch and 4 methods for starting a 2 strand project.

Does arming your troop with a dozen needles and thread seem intimidating? Learn how to teach a basic sewing project and gain confidence with peers.

You'll get a chance to learn how to do wood burning - a fun troop or camporee activity. You'll learn about the materials needed for this craft and sources for getting them. I will cover best practices for safety and how to teach this skill to girls. You'll go home with a beautiful wood burning item you created.

Learn to make beautiful traditional Hawaiian ribbon and yarn leis as gifts to celebrate graduations, birthdays, and special occasions.

Make miniature cuteness with a barbed needle and wool roving that you stab to create art or a sweet gift for a special friend. You will leave with the items of your creation and all the information you need to make more of these engaging items on your own.

Leather crafting is a very versatile art that involves many skills (sewing, painting, dying, etc.). This is an intro class suitable for all ages who wish to learn the basics of working with leather.
