Creating and Managing Projects
The PI can go to "Projects" to create a new project, or go to an existing project page to add/remove project owners or members.
2. A Discover User can become a Project member. In order to join a project:
2.1 Go to "Projects" -> a public project "Join". In the “Join Project Request” Page, you can choose to request to become a “Project Owner” or just a “Project member”.
2.2 Private projects are not visible to general Discover users. You have to contact the PI or project owners directly.
3. A complete project page is shown in the following screenshot. Created by a PI and managed by a PI or an owner, a project can be "Created", "Updated", and "Deleted".
3.1 You can add a new "Experiment Resource Definition" in your porject here or do it when adding a new Experiment.
3.2 You can update the "Project Owners".
3.3 You can "Update Project Members", upon receving a member "Join" message from the portal if your project is 'Public', or private messages from an user if your project is 'Private'.
3.4 A project member can come to the same project page to add a new "Experiment Resource Definition" or create a new Experiment.
4. As a project creator (PI), please don't try to add yourself to be the owner or member of the project again.
