Stomp Rocket

Our Stomp Rocket was a rocket constructed of cardstock paper, a snow cone, and tape. The cardstock paper was rolled up around a PVC into a cylinder, and then taped together. A nose made of a snow cone and fins made of paper were also added. Next, we put the rocket onto the launch construction - a PVC pipe connected to an inflated plastic bottle. When the bottle was stomped on, the air from the bottle went through the pipe and propelled the rocket into the air.

The first time that we tried this, the rocket got stuck in a tree and we needed to throw things at it until it fell down. The next two attempts had the rocket land on the ground, but on the third try, one of the wings fell off and the cone flattened.
