SIMPLE CIRCUITS

Series Circuit:

Parallel Circuit:

We created a series circuit, including two LED lights, two buttons, and three batteries. In order for the LEDs to turn on, both buttons needed to be pressed down, as the current in a series circuit would be blocked by either button if it wasn't pressed down. 

We created a parallel circuit with two switches, four batteries, and a single LED light. For this circuit, only one of the switches needed to be switched on in order for the LED to light up, as there is more than one pathway for the current.
