In light of promoting a gender responsive community and ensuring equal opportunities to all gender in the society, DILG Central Luzon conducts a capacity intervention on Gender Responsive Project Proposal and Gender Impact Assessment for Locally Funded Projects.Β
The activity aims to empower the Local Government Units (LGUs) and DILG Region III Provincial and HUCs LFP Focal Persons to integrate Gender and Development (GAD) to their Programs, Projects and Policies towards the advancement of Gender Equality and strengthen Gender Mainstreaming especially in Locally Funded Projects.
DILG Central Luzon kicked off the celebration of the National Women's Month with the theme, "WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society", by recognizing and honoring the women workforce of DILG Regional Office through a simple ceremony held on March 6, 2023.Β The activity was also aimed to inform and engage women and everyone to push for gender-responsive government programs and services that empower women to contribute to nation-building.
In his inspirational message, RD Anthony C. Nuyda, emphasized the important role and contribution of women in national development particularly the right to actively engage in the implementation of the Department's programs, projects and activities in the region.Β Β
The activity was highlighted by an Audio Visual Presentation (AVP) featuring women in Central Luzon who excelled in respective field of profession, special presentation by DILG Regional Office On-the-Job trainees (OJT) and flower offering for all female personnel at the Regional Office.Β
