To ensure the sustainability of DILG R3 GAD programs, projects and activities, the DILG - GAD Focal Point System successfully conducted its Annual GAD Planning Activity on March 27, 2023 at Conference Room, DILG Regional Office III, DMGC, Maimpis, CSFP.

The results of the activity will be used as basis in implementing policies that will strengthen the mainstreaming of gender perspectives in response to the gender gaps and issues within the organization, and among the clients of the Department.

DILG Central Luzon kicked off the celebration of the National Women's Month with the theme, "WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society", by recognizing and honoring the women workforce of DILG Regional Office through a simple ceremony held on March 6, 2023.  The activity was also aimed to inform and engage women and everyone to push for gender-responsive government programs and services that empower women to contribute to nation-building.

In his inspirational message, RD Anthony C. Nuyda, emphasized the important role and contribution of women in national development particularly the right to actively engage in the implementation of the Department's programs, projects and activities in the region.  

The activity was highlighted by an Audio Visual Presentation (AVP) featuring women in Central Luzon who excelled in respective field of profession, special presentation by DILG Regional Office On-the-Job trainees (OJT) and flower offering for all female personnel at the Regional Office.
