This is where my curiosity takes root.
Explore the three areas at the heart of my work, where education meets technology, creativity and new possibilities for teaching and learning.
Each part of the garden is always growing, so there will always be something new to discover.
Coding and robotics is about much more than screens, computers, lines of complicated code and expensive equipment. Discover how computational thinking, unplugged coding, robotics, storytelling and play can introduce powerful problem-solving ideas in ways that make sense for young learners.
What's next for education? Explore new and evolving technologies, interesting tools and innovative ideas that are reshaping what might be possible in teaching and learning, while asking the important question: just because we can use a technology, does it mean we should?
AI is changing the way we teach, learn, create and think, but what does that actually mean for education? Explore generative AI, AI pedagogy, human-machine collaboration and the opportunities, questions and challenges emerging as AI enters our classrooms.
New technologies emerge. New questions take root. And sometimes the most interesting ideas begin with a simple “I wonder what would happen if…”
Digital Seedlings is a space for exploring those questions, sharing what I discover along the way, and making sense of what a changing digital world might mean for education.
Come back soon. There will probably be something new growing here.
