Discussion
Which video formats do people watch the most?
What makes them engaging?Â
Do you know how to create such videos?
Let's split into 3 groups.Â
Performers who bring characters to life in films, television, theater, and other media by using their voice, expressions, and body language.Â
Writers who create scripts for movies, TV shows, and other visual media, developing dialogues, characters, and storylines.Â
Professionals who refine and organize video, film, or written content by cutting, arranging, and enhancing material to create a polished final product. Â
Main goal:
The goal of our quest is to create an attractive video for social media. Take a look at the stages of our quest ↓
Step 1.
📍Watch 3 videos from social media and compare which one looks the most attractive right now? For what purposes can these videos be used? For what age group?Â
📍Create criteria for the success of videos on social networks using mindmap.
Step 2.
📍Compare the criteria that you wrote with the criteria in the presentation.
📍Explore the types of viral videos on social media.
Step 3 (Actors).
When making videos or speaking in front of an audience, it is important to be able to control your speech, use the right vocabulary and impress the audience. Read texts about the most prominent speakers.
📍Write the introduction to the article. What do the highlighted words and phrases mean?
📍Look at the eight people in the photos on. What do you know about them? Match bites A-H to the people in the photos.
A. 'I have the heart and stomach of a king.
B. Government of the people, by the people, for the people."
C. "The laws that men have made'
D. We shall never surrender."
E. "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country."
F. 'I have a dream."
G. 'It is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.'
H. "Yes, we can."Â

Step 4 (Screenwriters).
Based on the theory at the beginning, as well as on the features of public speaking:
📍Use ChatGPT to generate a short video script based on this prompt:
"Write a script for a 30-second video on how to use a coffee machine."
📍After receiving the AI script:
Edit it to make it more natural and engaging.
Shorten or simplify any complicated phrases.
Add humor, emojis, or a personal touch!
📍Compare your attitude to the received text with the actors.
Step 5 (Screenwriters).
A good video script has three main parts:
Hook.
Main Content.
Call to Action.
📍Complete the missing parts of the script:
Step 6 (Editors).
📍Open CapCut and find the following tools. Write out their main functions:
Delete –Â
Split –Â
Overlay -Â
Edit –Â
Duplicate -Â
Replace -Â
Stabilize -Â
Transform –Â
Remove BG –Â
📍Analyze these functions using a presentation:
