The Digital Design Notebook (DDN) is a tool which guides engineering students through the engineering design process. Each student design team should have an editable version of the DDN. As a design team proceeds through the engineering design process, team members can add content to the team's DDN. The DDN serves as a repository for student work, allows for the easy sharing of information between team members, and guides engineering students through the engineering design process. Lectures, project due dates, and assignments are all embedded within the DDN. Students can upload course deliverables on to their team's digital design notebook and work collaboratively to complete assignments. Instructors and project advisors can make comments on student work.
