This photo of me skiing at Beaver Mountain displays interception, which is when vegetation intercepts, or traps, precipitation (in this case snow) before it hits the ground. The snow is being intercepted by the trees before it can hit the ground as shown by the green arrows.

This photo taken on top of the Beaver Mountain Ski Area displays condensation, which is when water vapor turns into liquid. Clouds are formed when water vapor in the air condenses into water droplets or ice crystals. The water droplets can be seen as the white puffy clouds in the photo. Once enough water droplets condense, precipitation will occur.

Snow accumulation occurs when a measurable depth of snow falls and is retained on the ground or other surfaces and is deposited or accumulated over time.
Figure 1. displays active snow accumulation in that it was actively snowing. Later, after this picture was taken and on our hike back, much more snow could be measured on the ground and was also visible on the fallen tree stumps that can be seen in this picture.
Figure 2. displays accumulated snow that happened over night and was evident when I woke up the next morning to walk my dog. The green arrows show that snow accumulated on the fenders and on the roof of the Jeep as well as on the ladder that was holding the Jeep door shut. Snow can also be seen to have accumulated on the windows, on the driveway, and on the tires of the Jeep.
Figure 3. is another image that displays accumulated snow that happened the same day Figure 2 was taken. Here, you can see that the footprints are quite deep as the snow accumulated on the sidewalk over night. Snow can also be seen to have accumulated on the mailbox and on the tops and sides of the cars in this photograph.

Baseflow is the low flow or average flow in a channel and is sustained between precipitation events. This image displays winter base flow in the Logan River as there have been no recent precipitation events and it is too cold for the snow on the banks to melt.

Snow is precipitation that falls in the form of ice crystals. Snow has a complex structure as the ice crystals are formed individually in clouds, but when they fall, they stick together in clusters of snowflakes. This video displays snow (precipitation).

A drizzle is a light rain (when moisture condense from the atmosphere falls visibly and separates into drops) that falls in very fine drops. While driving back to Logan from from McCall, Idaho, I noticed it drizzling. This video displays it drizzling on the windshield of my car.

Rain is when moisture condensed from the atmosphere falls visibly and separates into drops. Rain is harder than a drizzle. After going for a run on the Highline-River Trail, I noticed it was raining. The videos displays it raining.

Snow throughfall is when precipitation (snow) penetrates through the canopy and reaches the soil surface. I observed snow throughfall while I was skiing at the Park City Mountain Resort. While some of the snow in this video is being caught by the trees, other snow particles are penetrating the tree canopy and landing on the soil surface, indicating snow throughfall.
**Note: Although I do have bingo, I will keep observing hydrological processes as spring begins and the snow starts to melt:)
