Reading the book "National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Space"

  • Have them sit on the carpet/ or if you feel more comfortable at their desks, and you may begin reading when you believe they are ready.

  • Only read up to pages X-X ( 14 pages in total )

  • after reading the pages, have the students discuss as pairs and have them write their answers down on a piece of paper and turn them in with you.

Here are the things they can discuss (write these on the board, or write them down on a doc and show them on the projector).

  1. Ask about the planets around us

  2. Which one has rings?

  3. what's their favorite planet?

  4. which is the one closest to the sun?

  5. which planet do we live on? ( 20 - 35 mins )
