This e-Portfolio documents my learning journey throughout this course, starting with building a stronger foundation in digital literacy and computer skills (and finally learning the real names for things I've been clicking on for years). As I move through each unit, I reflect on what I worked on, what I learned, and how my understanding of technology continues to grow.
This portfolio acts as both a record of my progress and a space to track how I'm becoming more confident using digital tools in academic and everyday setting. Think if it as my digital diary, minus the oversharing.
Hi, I’m Diamond. I’m a radiology major currently learning my way through computers, digital systems, and all the behind-the-scenes tech I used to ignore as long as things worked. Before this class, I used technology every day but didn’t really think about what was happening under the hood I just clicked around and hoped for the best.
This portfolio is a reflection of my learning process: discovering new terms, understanding how systems connect, and realizing that technology plays a much bigger role in healthcare (and radiology) than I originally thought. From digital imaging to data systems, it’s clear that knowing how tech works actually matters.
I’m still learning, still asking questions, and occasionally still Googling things, but at least now I know what I’m Googling and why.
This semester honestly taught me more than I expected, especially about how much organization and consistency matter. Balancing two accelerated courses at the same time was stressful, and there were moments where it felt overwhelming trying to keep up with deadlines while still doing quality work. At first, the ePortfolio felt like another added task, but as I worked through it, it became a space where everything I learned finally connected. I gained practical skills like organizing digital content, creating citations, and presenting information clearly, but I also learned how capable I am when I push through challenges. Overall, this project shows my growth academically and personally, and it’s something I’m genuinely proud of despite how demanding the semester was.
