FORTUNATELY, all but one of the four defects discussed so far can be fixed by modifying the presentation of the trick a little. Making the effect last longer is a more complicated affair because it involves modifying the method—we won't worry about this for now. This chapter will expand on some of the presentational changes I briefly touched on already.
