Welcome to my Designer/Developer Journal for Feedback That Fuels, a microcredential course created for new and emerging managers at Firefly Aerospace.
This site documents my full instructional design process, from needs analysis through evaluation planning. Each subpage represents a phase of the design cycle—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—and showcases both the project deliverables and the rationale behind each decision.
The purpose of this journal is twofold:
To provide a transparent record of how I apply design thinking to translate complex concepts into engaging, learner-centered experiences.
To demonstrate how instructional design decisions can drive real-world results in high-stakes, rapidly evolving environments like aerospace.
At Firefly, managers balance technical precision, tight deadlines, and the responsibility of guiding mission-critical teams. This journal shows how I designed Feedback That Fuels to meet those realities—making the learning scalable, practical, and immediately applicable while also fostering a culture of growth and trust.
Use the navigation menu to explore each phase of the project. You’ll find outlines, sample learning assets, scenario-based interactions, video scripts, and marketing strategies. Throughout, I reflect on how the design prioritizes Firefly managers’ needs, emphasizes application in real-world contexts, and incorporates creative elements (such as conversational marketing, AI-driven testimonials, and Slack-based peer support) to spark engagement and extend learning beyond the LMS.
Thank you for visiting!
