Senior Design Plan

Establish an understanding of the project scope amongst group members

Create a project schedule/roadmap for the final product

Communicate with professionals (locksmiths and home security technicians) and potential customers to gain feedback on our design

Research further into the mechanisms of a lock and develop necessary technical skills for the design topic

Design a minimum viable product (MVP) of our smart lock to test the NFC technology and battery life

Gather feedback from customers and make improvements based on evaluations

Create final product and present to innovation expo

Establish a patent for the completed product
