A graduate of Jamia Millia Islamia with a Bachelor’s in Architecture (2020) and a Master’s in Building Services (2023), Khan has established a strong track record as a project architect managing complex design and construction projects. His expertise spans project management, sustainable design, and cross-cultural architectural integration.

Sabahat has previously worked as an assistant professor at Sharda University. Along with multiple roles as project architect for national as well as international projects. His current research focuses on bridging historical preservation with contemporary educational needs while emphasizing climate-responsive approaches.

Sabahat Ali Khan presented "From Measured Heat to Lived Comfort" at Bhalswa Landfill" at the Lived Heat Symposium, hosted by TU Delft, NL. This paper was co-authored with PhD supervisor Saurabh Tewari, Manu Sobti and Fred Fialho Teixeira.

Sabahat Ali Khan presented "The Contested Campus: Competitive Territoriality and Lived Belonging in a Heritage Landscape" at the UD26 Belonging Conference hosted by the University of Aveiro, Portugal. This paper was co-authored with PhD supervisor Saurabh Tewari.
