STOP the Half-Hearted Rescheduling of Cannabis – Demand Full Descheduling!

Lawmakers and policymakers are considering rescheduling cannabis instead of fully descheduling it. This approach is a step backward, not forward. Rescheduling would still keep cannabis under federal control, perpetuating unnecessary restrictions and barriers. What we need is full descheduling, to completely remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act and allow for proper state-level regulation.

Cannabis should be treated like any other legal product, allowing adults the freedom to make their own choices. The FDA and other health experts have recognized its medical potential, yet rescheduling would only maintain outdated policies that hinder progress. This is not the reform we need.
