CALLING ALL ADVOCATES AND EXPERTS
Join Us for a Virtual Conference ON 4/13 to Demand the DESCHEDULING of Cannabis as an Agricultural Commodity
Cannabis is more than a plant, it’s a resource for food, medicine, energy, and industry. It’s time to treat it as the agricultural commodity it is, much like alcohol, and remove it from the outdated restrictions of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).

On Saturday, April 13, 2025, one week before 4/20, we’re hosting a virtual conference to unite voices in advocating for the descheduling of cannabis. The event will feature three sessions, morning, mid-day, and evening, each lasting four hours, to accommodate participants nationwide.
Why Cannabis Should Be Descheduled and Treated as an Agricultural Commodity
Cannabis as a Crop: Like grapes for wine or grains for beer, cannabis is a versatile agricultural product with industrial, medicinal, and recreational uses.
Economic Growth: Treating cannabis as an agricultural commodity could empower small farmers, homegrowers, and mom-and-pop businesses, creating jobs and revitalizing local economies.
Support for Small Producers: Descheduling would open opportunities for family-run farms, local dispensaries, and community-based operations to thrive without being outcompeted by large corporations.
Environmental Benefits: Industrial hemp can rejuvenate soil, reduce carbon emissions, and serve as a renewable resource for textiles, biofuel, and paper.
Freedom to Grow: Farmers and homegrowers should have the right to cultivate cannabis without unnecessary federal interference, just as they do with other crops like hops or barley.
