PERSONALITY: Lunge is very cold. He's ruthless and calculating in his approach of to almost all facets of his life, seeing any mistake as the ultimate insult to his intelligence. In work, this occasionally leads many of his suspects to commit suicide from the constant pressure or lack of. His purpose is to catch criminals, everything else is an afterthought at best, massively regarding interpersonal relationships uninteresting wastes of time waiting for better and more fulfilling pursuits.

He does things by the book and method and is married to the facts as well as his habitual methods of doing things on a day to day basis. He is also very stubborn about who he thinks is the killer and very skeptical of different possibilities that go against the concrete facts pointing to Tenma. Intuitive arguments do not work for him unless there are concrete provable facts to support that argument. Very little of his assessments are intuitively driven, interpreting the mind of someone else’s action as well as what could’ve happened that was unseen. He usually goes against his usual methods of compiling verifiable empirical data.
