We deliberately hadn't told a soul about booking you - so when everyone arrive at Prestwold Hall to be greeted by sounds of 'La Mer - Beyond the Sea..' and 'Fly Me To The Moon..' they were blown away!! Fantastic stuff!! And the reception we got to 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy' was hilarious - even the photographers were dancing!! Thank you for such a brilliant performance!! The Derby Sax Quartet played music prior to the ceremony and for the entrance of the bride. After the ceremony we moved outside to play during the photographs and whilst guests mingled before dinner.

The Quartet provided music for the evening's entertainment, which included the use of the PA system when the Quartet wasn't playing and a performance accompanying one of the guests singing two special songs: 'When I Fall in Love' and 'Beyond the Sea'. These were arranged specially for the event.

"A Civic Dinner and Ball was hosted by the Mayor of Derby, Cllr Sean Marshall, as he nears the end of his year in office. Almost 350 people attended the event, held at Derby Assembly Rooms and organised by events management company, Silver Mango. Guests enjoyed a red carpet champagne reception, followed by a lavish six course meal and were entertained with live music, table magic, cupids on stilts, casino tables and even a surprise visit from Darth Vader and his army of Storm Troopers."
