Continuous Internal Evaluation(CIE)

CONTINUOUS INTERNAL EVALUATION

Continuous internal evaluation is one of the important features of the Choice based credit system (CBCS). The Department continuously evaluate course outcome of the students after completion of each unit or chapter of every paper. The Department implements 80:20 pattern of examination system as per the guideline of the affiliating University. Out of 100 marks, 80 marks are evaluated through external evaluation conducted by the affiliating university and remaining 20 marks fall under internal examination. The 20 marks are divided into three categories as 10+4+6 (10 marks- written examination + 4 marks – attendance + 6 marks for continuous evaluation).

The continuous internal evaluation of the students is conducted as per the following methods.
