About me

My name is Ms. Maxi, and I teach Introduction to Healthcare Science. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Health Services Administration, with a minor in Public Health, both from Strayer University. Additionally, I graduated from Everest Institute with a diploma in Medical Assisting and have been a Certified Pharmacy Technician for over 20 years.

Currently, I am pursuing my Master's in Education in Instruction at Valdosta State University. My professional experience encompasses various areas within the medical field, including retail, specialty, and hospital pharmacies. I have also worked in infectious control clinics, addressing a wide range of diseases. Through these roles, I have gained four years of medical expertise, which includes navigating diverse insurance plans and handling various patient care scenarios.
