As a future educator, learning ASL 2 is indeed helpful, as I get the chance to learn some of the relevant knowledge I need when I become a teacher someday. This subject fills one of many buckets I need to fill before becoming a teacher. It taught me crucial information on what I need to prepare during teaching, the proper ways to assess the learners, and the correct process for making an assessment about what I need to consider. Therefore, this has become my stepping stone to becoming more aware of what guidelines I should follow and what principles I must perform to effectively assess the students given the demands of the 21st century. ASL 2 also develops my awareness in terms of what are the best suitable activities I should give to these types of students that will effectively assess their different skills and performances. Learning ASL 2 may be considered complex, yet it provides information that will be useful when I start teaching. Its purpose is to develop and prepare future educators like me, therefore we will be ready and know exactly what to do when we finally meet our future learners.
