READ ALOUD:

There is a large clearing here as a four foot high tree stump of a fallen birch at least one hundred feet across It looks as if it had been cleanly severed. Fifty feet or so away there is a great lizard with three horns grazing on a massive fruit that dwarfs even this great beast.

A tree in the distance looks a bit "off" on the trunk of this massive tree you can see spiders the size of small melons tending to the bark of the tree which seem to shift slightly in hte forest breeze.

You find a shortcut that cuts through the jungle in the form of a titanic fallen birch. As you walk along the top of the log a bat-like creature dive bombs your party attempting to knock you off of the log and into the jungle below.
