West Virginia is one of only a couple states that is losing population. For years, our primary export were our natural resources. Now, it's our people and it must stop. How do we keep people here and healthy?

Investing in Education

• Restructuring and refocusing of K-12 Education (Click here for plan)
• Increase investment in the PROMISE scholarship program
• Offer student loan forgiveness programs for employed citizens (similar to programs in Maine and Kansas)

Supporting Families

• Tax credit for childcare
• Earned Income Tax Credit
• Ensure access to affordable healthcare for all citizens, including the strengthening of PEIA and expanding drug prevention and recovery programs
• Make sure workers earn a living wage
• Create a "fair workweek" so that employees are compensated fairly for their time and are respected by their employers
• Restore "prevailing wage" and end "Right-to-Work"
• Provide all workers with the ability to join a union
