Outcomes

Design & Electronic Convergence System (DECS) lab is a research lab affiliated to Design Department at UNIST. The primary goal of DECS lab is to develop products or projects related to Personal Mobility Devices with HMI (Human Machine Interface) technology, Embedded Systems that can recognize and analyze the sensor signals and perform the actions according to its signal processing, and many more products that can reduce the human burden and can make the life easy and more comfortable. Our lab deals with various digital control systems which helps to make the vehicles, robots and other creative devices more interactive to human.

Our lab also focuses on sensor based devices & robots which rely on emotion recognition, generation, and expressions.

Technical prerequisite of DECS Lab—We work on MCU/DSP with C/C++ and FPGA/CPLD with Verilog HDL. We use Matlab, Spice, and KiCad as simulation tools for data analysis and circuit design.
