I joined Forward Edge's Edu Coach Network in August, 2022. As a member of this community, I have participated in several virtual workshops, webinars, and roundtable discussions. The roundtable discussions, in particular, have been a great way for me to connect with other tech coaches around the country (and even the world)!
In September 2023 I volunteered to be a moderator for a 'Coaching Squad' organized by the EDU Coach Network. The Coaching Sqads are small groups of 5-8 coaches who attend weekly 30-minute meetings to discuss topics related to tech coaching, ask questions, get feedback, and gather new ideas and resources.
My role as 'Squad Mod' has been a great way for me to develop leadership skills while connecting with other tech coaches. I'm responsible for scheduling meetings, communicating with the coaches in my Squad, setting agendas, and faciliating meetings.
This collection of professional development certificates demonstrates my ongoing dedication to the pursuit of professional learning and growth. By continuing to seek out and engage in various learning experiences, I am able to remain current with emerging technology and support teachers and students.
In November, 2021, I volunteered to host a Lunch and Learn sponsored by the Nebraska Educational Technology Association (NETA). During this virtual meeting, I spoke about my experience pursing Google for Education Certified Coach certification. This document is a collection of templates and resources that I created and shared with other educators who are also pursuing this certification.
This year-end report was created using Book Creator and was shared with district leadership and teachers as a way to highlight the impact of tech coaching in 2020-2021 and identify areas of improvement for the following school year. Information included in this report includes an analysis of both formal and informal data collected during the first year of implementing coaching cycles, as well as feedback from teachers who participated. A thorough reflection of these and other data sources are used to create a summary of recommendations for improving tech coaching and support during the following school year.
