Organoid Protocols

Organoids of epithelial or colonic origin are an organotypic cell culture system derived from murine or human colon or intestinal epithelial tissue. This system, based on published work from the Clevers group (Sato T et al. Nature 2009 and Sato T et al. Gastroenterology. 2011), produces a stable and efficient three dimensional system for the culture of epithelial cells and helps to facilitate studies of the dynamics and factors affecting colon stem cell niche and crypt formation in IBD and other intestinal diseases.
