Packing List

Consider packing the following items:

• Additional pillow, blanket, and towels if needed*

• Toiletries

• Cookware, utensils etc.

• Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses)

• Umbrella 

• Comfortable walking shoes

• Closed toed shoes for lab

• Cool, loose clothing (summer here is very hot and humid)

• Professional attire**

• Photo ID

• Health insurance card

• Medications/prescriptions

• Garbage can (not provided in suites)

*The following linen rental package is covered by program, so no need to bring these items: 

• 2 bed sheets

• 1 pillowcase

• 1 pillow

• 1 light summer blanket

• 2 bath towels

• 2 washcloths

• 2 soaps

**Recommended Professional Attire

• Casual dress is acceptable for most of the program. However, you will need to be in compliance with lab safety guidelines, such as closed-toed shoes.

• Some events will require professional or business casual attire. Please pack 2-3 outfits for these dress codes.

• Keep in mind that St. Louis is extremely hot in the summer, so you will want to pack accordingly - but bring a few outfits for the occasional cooler weather.
