Instructions for Move-in day: Sunday, May 18th
Check-in time: 3-7pm
Directions to Village East residence hall:
If going straight from the airport to campus:
Put “Village East” into Uber or Lyft. The GPS should lead the driver straight to the correct building. If you get dropped off and are unable to find it, please contact me (847-924-2467).
If a friend or family member is driving you:
Enter “Village East” into your preferred GPS app. As you get closer, the GPS may recommend turning onto Throop to arrive at Village East. DO NOT DO THIS! Turn onto BIG BEND instead. It is one intersection away. Then turn onto SNOW WAY and it'll take you to a spot where you can pull your car off into a circle (temporarily).
Once you pull into the circle on Snow Way, your friend/family member can wait in the car while you check in if you'd like.
If you are driving yourself:
You may park in the Millbrook Garage. We will provide parking validation if needed.
If living off-campus, you will receive your Bear Bucks and employee ID badge at orientation.

Instructions for moving out on July 25th:
Bear Bucks expire at the end of summer and cannot be transferred to the fall semester.
You must move out on July 25th. If this is an issue, please contact me by 8am on July 11th.
Leave your room in GOOD CONDITION:
Remove garbage from suite and take it to large bins located on each floor
Take down wall hangings, posters, etc.
Vacuum and/or sweep floors
Quickly wipe down ALL SURFACES
No need to deep clean, but if you've spilled all over the inside of the fridge (for example), please don't leave it there for housekeeping to deal with! Be respectful and considerate. You are one person simply cleaning up after yourself, which is a reasonable expectation before you move out. They have hundreds of rooms to flip before the school year begins.
Once you have moved out of your suite, drop off key at:
Summer Programs and Conference Services (on the South 40)
Umrath House, next to Bear Necessities – suite 1950
Office hours: Mon-Sun, 8:30a – 12am
Use key drop box if after hours
For the sake of efficiency, I recommend that the last suitemate checking out drops off all the suite's keys at the office above.
