For the past two seasons (2024 and 2025), I’ve led the content strategy for one of college baseball’s largest fan events, Omaha Baseball Village, which draws national attention during the College World Series. In this role, I’ve collaborated with major brands like Wilson, Rawlings, and the Golden Spikes Award to drive engagement and elevate the fan experience. During the two-week event, I managed a robust daily publishing schedule across platforms, oversaw two content associates, and helped generate over 2 million page views and 3,500 new followers. I also coordinated stage presentations and ran the Flying Flags for Charity campaign, blending community relations with high-visibility activations. One of the highlights of my time there was producing and delegating a viral social series in partnership with Hurrdat Sports that spotlighted community heroes and charitable initiatives.

I created the OBV's first Vendor Directory Graphic for public use, pictured here, which aligns with our new graphic identity found throughout the socials.
I produced and led the execution of a social campaign in collaboration with Hurrdat Sports, originating from my original video series the year prior, called “Last Man Standing,” which highlighted our Flying Flags for Charity causes while engaging fans on-site.
The interactive series invited fans to locate historic Rosenblatt flags after each elimination game to lower their opponents' flag, give them any last words, and then win an exclusive Omaha Baseball Village prize. I coordinated content, managed brand partnerships with Hurrdat Sports, The Game Caps, and Junk Brands to amplify reach and storytelling impact across platforms.
NUMBERS COMING SOON
"We were honored (by coincidence!) to have former Murray State head coach and past player, raise the team flag on the historic Rosenblatt flagpoles for their first appearance in Omaha! 🏳️ 💙 @racersbaseball
It was divine timing when Mike and Suzzie Thieke walked by and enthusiastically offered to help raise Murray State’s flag for the first time in Omaha. What we didn’t know was their story.
Mike was a previous head head coach of the Racer baseball program from 1993-03, where he led the team to its third tournament appearance in his final year. Pictured in the video, he was also a former player in 1973-74, with his wife wearing his old jersey.
We’re grateful we could create such a special moment for the Thiekes and wish all Racer fans a fantastic time in Omaha!🐎"
We preplanned copy and photo, and created a story skin with consistent OBV branding to ensure equal and high-quality coverage for each of the 8 charities.
