Personality + Background:

Ra is very on-off when it comes to things. Things they are not interested in might as well not exist, for all the care they show. Could go on about farming and animals for hours, two interests that make them feel useful and secure. The process of gardening is soothing to them. They hope one day to have a small farm with enough to live off. They want to be sure of what they have, to not have to worry about shopping. They are very blase about a lot of things they should probably care about. Very bad at not laughing when they shouldn't. What's theirs is shared freely with those they love. Very against the concept of money but knows it's important. Looks up to their sister, who they use as a guidepost on how to act and appear “normal”. They tend to unintentionally overstep boundaries - if you’re one of Ra’s people they are very tactile. Not very good at reading the room.

Ra was born to Alice and James Kinsley in Dawngrove. Their parents were from out of town, and never quite integrated in the town, not that they tried. When their eldest child, Gabriella, was 16 and Ra was 6 they left town, leaving their children behind. Nobody would have thought much of their disappearance if it wasn't for how young Gabriella was, to be taking care of Ra. Ra was an odd child and a bit of an outcast growing up, although they seemed to grow out of it once they hit middle school.

They joined the coven because... they were asked to come with Charlie on her first visit and came the next few times to discuss herbs. Stays because they became close with the group - Ra is a ride or die friend..
