Our main goal is to make this server feel safe for all the people involved, and below are our rules for the group as a whole; important parts are bolded for ease of reading, with the explanation following. If you do not agree with them, we prefer you look elsewhere for a creative community.
If you agree, huzzah! these shouldn’t be a problem for you at all.

Please read our trigger warnings (click here)
for anything that might cause stress for you. We’ll do our best to accommodate, although some of the themes of the story are set in stone.
Be respectful
Listen to others, try not to post art or writing over theirs without making a small effort to engage them, try and be welcoming. if we all give each other the space to be heard and support each other’s efforts at creation we’ll all reap the rewards!
Respect the blacklist
Please adhere to the member blacklist! Blacklisted topics should be avoided, but if it’s necessary or in passing, please label it appropriately and censor the discussion with spoiler marks. Blacklisted messages should roughly follow this format:

It’s encouraged if you’re uncomfortable with someone's actions. if you spot a red flag before we do, we appreciate the tip.
Roleplay:
Everyone has different comfort levels while rping, it may be a good idea to consider making a comfort guide!
Group roleplay rules (they do not apply to private ones) are as follows:
refrain from Power-Playing, God-modding, or Meta gaming.
It takes skill and knowledge to know when to bend these rules, just be respectful to other players and allow them to react, and keep in mind what your character doesn’t know.
characters may stir up drama - it's not personal!
if you’re upset or it feels real you can always request a break
Refrain from leap-frogging
Jumping post after post with one other person- give everyone a chance to respond!

Try and read everyones post, if you need time to catch up let us know. (Or listen, if we're in voice).
No Forced Shipping
Below are more serious things we want to take a stance on right away.
We try to be understanding mods, to communicate with our members before decisions, and ensure we’re not making a mistake. If the following things are important to you, they shouldn’t be an issue! Don’t worry about it.
We have zero tolerance towards:
Anything that normalizes or romanticizes the mistreatment and/or abuse of minors
This results in an instant ban, and you will be blocked from the group & mods. We will inform the rest of the group of your actions.
Actions of discrimination against race, gender expression or identity, disability, or sexuality.
We’re all human and plenty of these things are so ingrained, we don’t always know if we’re doing something wrong. If it is determined to be on purpose, you seem hesitant to change your actions or apologize sufficiently, or it happens more than once, you will be banned at our moderators discretion.
Making fun or joking of Mental illness, disabilities, sexualities, races, etc is included within this rule. Including triggers.
Fetishization of any of the above
Consistently misgendering someone
Purposely doing so results in an instant ban. If you refuse to make a noticeable effort to not misgender people, and even characters, then we’ll have to let you go.
Anger that is expressed with deliberately harmful or violent intention
This includes cursing at someone when you’re angry. This does not include someone who is joking, it's wise to be careful and consider your intention.
Harmful forms of attention-seeking
Everyone goes through rough patches. It can accidentally become manipulative, and we will direct you towards getting help, and possibly enact a temporary ban or permanent ban depending on your compliance. everyone’s feelings are to be considered.
Please contain any personal rants within the rant channel.
Harassment
Of any kind towards other members, please report if someone in the group will not leave you alone.
Stealing art
don’t trace or steal someone’s art, if referenced it would be preferred to have the resource noted.
