Charlie S.

Personality + Background:

Charlie is a rather shy, flustered girl--thanks to her very isolated upbringing. Despite this, she has a great excitement for the world, always eager to meet new people or learn more. She can be very awkward, often stumbling through conversations or saying some very out of pocket comments, but she's clearly open-minded and has people's best interests at heart. She suffers from a deep need to make someone else satisfied or happy with her in however way she can.

Raised in rural Georgia, Charlie was born in a town that doesn't even have a name on the map. If you ask her, she had a lonely but nice upbringing--with plenty of folk from beyond to keep her company. Charlie was born with the ability to hear or see spirits from beyond death, and while it was a fuzzy ability at first, she honed it to be able to properly communicate with them--especially the one who looked awful familiar to her big brother Jacob who she watched go into the woods with her father and... well, he's not *quite* around anymore. She was taught to put that behind her.

As she grew into her own, she decided to pursue her love of the world and the arts by going to college in the town of Dawngrove. Much of her family-town was reluctant to let her go, but she promised to keep in touch and follow their traditions.

She's joined the coven because... She can talk to ghosts. She's been told that's pretty weird. So when she hears about a bunch of people who can do similar things, she decides to scope it out, and maybe be a little judgey (hypocrite).
