DAWL is a research laboratory.

We are always looking for students interested in conducting research, both theoretical and applied. The best fit are for students who (a) are inquisitive and motivated, and (b) are interested in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology and/or Occupational Health Psychology.

What you will do in the lab:

Graduate Students

Undergraduate Students

Graduate-level tasks require the development of a base of expertise in a particular area, running advanced analyses, and conducting original research.

Tasks (may) include:

  • Designing studies

  • Analyzing data

  • Project management

  • Interpreting results and offering recommendations

  • Submitting research to conferences at the local, regional, and/or national level

  • Submit findings for publication in peer-reviewed publications

Undergraduate-level tasks require assisting with the conducting of original research and running basic analyses.

Tasks (may) include:

  • Questionnaire data entry and analysis

  • Conduct literature searches

  • Cleaning data

  • Preparation of research study materials

  • Transcribing interview data and coding qualitative data

  • Lab organization and management

  • Participating in regular lab meetings
