Urinetown is a satirical musical set in a dystopian city where a 20-year drought has led to a government ban on private toilets, forcing citizens to use expensive public facilities controlled by the corrupt Urine Good Company. The show follows a young hero who leads a rebellion against the tyrannical company after his father is sent to the mysterious "Urinetown" for not paying the fee, sparking a fight for freedom that critiques capitalism and corporate greed.
