1. Position 48
48: High Anchor. White has a 9 pip lead. Black has one on the bar, 20pt anchor a stronger home board but three checkers on the 1pt and out of pay. White only has a three point board. Black probably needs to hit but will struggle to contain a checker and may fall behind even further if fans. White also has two checkers out of play and plenty of gaps. Double/Take
2. Position 631
631: Bareoff. White is off in 3 average rolls, black is also off 3 rolls average rolls or maybe 2 high rolls. Double/Take
3. Position 396
396: Action Double. White on bar shooting at 20pt. Black's army is split and has four checkers in whites home board. White has plenty of gaps so those checkers could move out easily enough. If black could make another innerboard point white might have some difficulty getting the last checker out. If hit, black could make another anchor. Double/Take
Correction: The three checkers on the 1pt are a killer for black. lots of gammons for white Double/Pass
4. Position 648
648: Bar anchor. 13 pip lead for white is not enough. No double. Close. The extra spare on the mid-point might be the reason it's a double.
5. Position 654
654: Two on the Bar. Black as a four point prime with two white checkers behind it. White makes the 5pt with 2's and 6's but 6's are needed to escape. White has a stronger home board and it is getting stronger. Double/Pass
6. Position 328
328: One on the Bar. White has the 20pt anchor + stronger board with spares. Black has timing but a dilly builder. Double/Pass
7. Position 108
108: One man back, one on the bar. White has the stronger board and is likely to get stronger. Black has two dead checkers and cannot contain white. White has a 26 pip lead to boot. Double/Big pass
8. Position 764
764: High anchor. White has escaped the back checkers, has lots of spares to play and a 25 pip lead. Black has a 4pt anchor, stripped midpoint, blot on the 5pt and a blot in white's home board. Black needs to hit and contain a checker to turn this around and I can't see that happening. Double/Pass
9. Position 524
524: Two checkers back and one on the bar. White has made the bar point anchor, has a broken four prime and a 21 pip lead. Black has an equal strength board but no anchor and has a prioroity of making an anchor. Black has no spares in the outfield so it could get sticky there and black may fan. White's board is going to get stronger. Double/Pass
10. Position 699
699: Low Anchor. Black has three checkers on the 24pt. Otherwise, the boards are similar but black has the 5pt vs blacks 3pt and better distribution. Whites lead is 15 pips. Black needs to get a back checker moving soon. Game could go either way but white has some advantages at the moment. Double/Take
