I'm a PhD candidate (physics) on an F1 visa at the University of Pittsburgh, studying Physics Education Research with Dr Chandralekha Singh. Before that, I spent 10 years teaching high school in Mongolia and Latvia. I grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I'm proud to be associated with the Discipline-Based Science Education Research Center (dB-SERC), the Underrepresentation Curriculum Project (URC), the PER Consortium of Graduate Students (PERCoGS), and the AAPT Committee on International Physics Education (AAPT-CIPE).
Teaching is my vocation and physics is the field I love. My goal is to improve the pedagogy and culture of physics and physics learning at all levels.
